  1. not all Aussies descend from convicts... My mums ancestors were but my dads ancestors were EARLY SETTLERS... the hob nobs of the towns...

  Something that I've notice. You are far more likely to get a New South Welshman to admit to being of Con stock that you are a Victorian and secondly everyone that admits it always reckons their family member got transported there because they stole a loaf of bread! Those early Aussie must have been so f'kn greedy for bread, what with all that bread they were stealing !

  Sounds as though you're probably not that if at all familiar with what we call the "stolen generation" over here? Basically it was during the first half of the C20th where the state governments, particularly Western Australia took "half-caste" children away from their parents to "re-habilitate" them, and put them into church ministries and turned them into farmhands and the like. Most of those children never saw their families again.

  And if you are Really interested in this monstrous part of Australia's life hunt down a DVD called "Rabbit Proof Fence" Its a true story about 3 aboriginal Girls that were snatched from home and taken off to live as maids to white Australians. They escape and start a walk that lasted over a 1000 miles through Australia to get back home all the time chased by the authority and aboriginal trackers..

  i did something smart lol!

  firstly talking respecfully to my mum got further than shouting so now the last ideas.... firstly i e-mailed the british musuem, ask about their tours, information on things they have on the site and all that.

  this will enable me to take mum there and show her the truth.. secondly and finally i've decided i want to contact the united nations.

  Ok, I got the pics from my mate in London, he dropped into the British museum with his camera and took some pics. I'll upload the pics later today.

  He found two comments on display that mention the fall of Jerusalem both contradict the WTBTS date and he also had a lot of trouble finding one of the tablets because the WTBTS have printed the picture upside down and back to front !

  it was awful.

  they knew my husband (primitive genius) and i were inactive for years both when we were single and married but they didn't know we were christians now.

  they suspected and finally asked us during a recent visit whether or not we believe the org is the 'truth'?

  When people make mistakes, thats when they need the most encouragement, right? You dont kick em when their down! Instead of shunning, they should be telling everyone in the congregation to encourage, show love, and be there for that person, not the other way around!

  Someone in here, an ex elder I believed was talking about the old days and JC's. He said that the attitude back then for elders on a JC was to try to "gain a brother rather than lose one"

  Nowadays its all about keeping the congregation spiritually clean. Its a shame that that old attitude isn't more common nowadays.

  Awwww Man I hated Morrowind.

  I got it free with my Graphics card and let the girly friend have it cos it looked a bit girly and because I wanted to get her into playing computer games so that she wouldn't nag me for playing them (I like shoot'em ups)

  She got really into it and many a night I went hungry or had to make my own bloody dinner because she was to busy bloody playing it

  I must of lost kilos thanks to that game !
